Do you know of anything like this in NYC? Not even this comprehensive, but any place for just recycling electronics?

I was trying to do some research online for where to bring old cell phones and monitors, but only saw some "special e-recycling events" that happen like twice a year.

This is very cool. I was just talking about this with a friend last week - we have a new European Union directive (called the WEEE for short) which demands that manufacturers are responsible for their e-waste. I guess California's well ahead of us, as usual. I was wondering what the practical reality of WEEE would be, and how convenient it would be for the public to play their part. I guess this is one way it can really work - I'm going to send this post to my UK MP and European MP.
