We know Brad from a little experiment called Co-Working at a fine establishment known as The Hat Factory. We’re happy to see that Brad is working on one of his own, open source projects with some help from the folks at SitePen. Dojo Offline is a toolkit that enables developers to incorporate offline capabilities into their apps. It’s always encouraging to see other freelancers get gigs to build their own projects. Good Luck Brad!

Hi – we are looking at using DOJO to front our intranet site. What I would like to know is do the current Data Store Providers – e.g. Item FileStore or QueryReadStore support your offline kit. For example, will they first try to load from local stores before going off over the network to get data – or would I have to extend the File or Query Stores to incorporate loadign and storing to your offlne store. Thus any widget that uses the current DOJO data stores (File/Query Stores) would have an automatic offline capability providing the data was offline (i.e. it had been viewed before or was sync’d to work offline). Many Thanks.
