this is great to hear! i love the pb&j solution, i also love pb or almond butter in my breakfasts to help me stay full longer (and it’s delicious). recently been making steel cut oatmeal with maple syrup and almond butter and i must say it keeps me going and boy is it tasty!

Recently I started making batches of pancakes and freezing them. I make mine totally from scratch because most pancake mixes contain milk which I do not eat. I was raised on bisquik so I never knew how EASY they are. On busy mornings I take the pancakes out of the freezer and pop them in the toaster. They can be eaten with syrup but when Im on the run I slather them with peanut butter or honey and eat like a sandwich.

Don’t you love cooking on cast iron? I use mine so much I never put it away.

Pancakes are such a great idea…and you can add so many things to them to make ‘em different.

Glad to see you’re spreading the word to keep waste to a minimum. YAY!

Fabulously inspiring as always. Personally, I alternate between muffins and pancakes. Seems to be cheaper too.

Also, when Cheryl sends that recipe (earlier comment) could you post it some place?

OK, when I get home from BlogHer I’m gonna send you this awesome bread recipie. You make a “starter” little ball of dough that’s gonna live in your fridge, and you can pull it out and make bread from it every week. The most work you do is about 20 minutes of kneading, and then just remembering how long to let it rise and when to pull it out of the oven. I love your pancakes, but you may not want to eat them every day for the rest of your life, and delicious bread is really not that hard to fit into your schedule. Now I’m hungry for pancakes though!
