Today we are proud to show off RyanIsHungry.com with the fancy, new Show In A Box functionality. W00t! Thanks to Cheryl Colan for all her hard work making it happen! Please take note, that there are some functions that are still buggy in the site, but we’re working on them with the rest of the Show In A Box team.
Here are some of our new features:
- Sidebars! Yes we finally have sidebars!
- Related and Recent Videos Plug-In, part of the Video Press Suite.
- An Ogg Theora Video option and RSS feed for all you FOSS fans
- A blog category so we can keep you updated on cool stuff in good old fashioned TEXT (and sometimes revlogged video)!
- Share code so you can re-blog easily!
- Fancy new Hire Us page with video pop ups of videos we got paid money for…and some that we did for fun!
- New Design by Cheryl!

nice guys…I am a newbie just found your site, but love love love it. I am moving my whole blog over to the Show in a Box/wordpress platform. Just getting started with the move but its going to be fun. Hey how did you do the two right sidebars…they are so cool they don’t come native with with the vlogsplosion theme do they? BTW have you seen the new wordpress plugin that works within the wordpress commenting system that allows visitors to post video and audio comments direct through their browser? I just discovered it and will probably add it to my vlog site if its any good the url is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/riffly/

That video commenting plugin is very cool. wish it didnt have the ad on it, but i guess that’s the price for freedom. The Showinabox project is what we built Ryanishungry with. Its a really cool version of wordpress (free!) built for videobloggers. you can join the group here: http://groups.google.com/group/show-in-a-box
yes I totally agree…a shame about the advertisment…but hey so far its the only thing out there…
Thankyou I have joined the group…I am looking forward to getting involved in the SIAB project. I am a budding videographer…lol horribly green behind the ears…but I was doing video for my blog site and everyone just responded so well…that I have decided to change the format, buy a new Mac and some great software and go go go…online tv here we come…hehe
