On our way across the country to Virginia (our new home!), we stopped by Erik Nelson’s place in Vermont to help tear down a barn. He’s salvaging the wood to build a house on his land. Very exciting and a lot of hard work. Check out the video Jay made and the Wreck and Salvage post to see how they actually tore the structure down.

We’ll be more settled soon, so there will be more posts…I promise!

P.S. Check out our new post office!

Hey! If you pulled out most of those boards, that was a hecka bunch of nails, Jay. Liked your macro look at the dirt in your arm…nice bit of texture. What camera are you using now?
Also, love the fact that ‘on the way’ to VA, you stopped by VT. What a great road trip!

I’m watching PBS show called “Building Green” and they talked about using reclaimed wood and your video showed a it in the real world. Awesome! I think that Post Office is even smaller then one I’ve seen in Surprise, AZ.

Nice dirt. It was a fun thing to see. Ryan you look so cute in your pink hat, and Jay - that fur - very manly. Hope you are enjoying Virginia. We are coming east for Silver Docs in June - are you guys going?

Don’t think we’ll be at Silver Docs this year. if you’re in the area, you got a place to stay at our house.
