Rupert and Kate of twittervlog fame, have recently moved their family from London to a small town on the west coast of Canada. Having a little more space has allowed them to start gardening in their front yard. As you can see, Kate is using the raised bed approach; instead of digging up the ground to start planting in, she’s adding a bunch of soil and some scrap wood to hold it all in. The advantage of this method is having instant, nutrient rich, aerated soil for your plants’ roots to really spread out and thrive, so expect things to grow fast. As you can see, her bounty has been really successful. Big props to Kate who was building this while 7 months pregnant, now that’s dedication. Can you say superwoman?
