Nice, very nice! 1. The onions are ok. Later in the growing season the tops fall as the plants put more energy into the root. 2. You can tell that there was not much planted were the tomatoes are. That is why they are so big. They will not be near as big next year if you plant them in the same place. Tomatoes pull tremendous amounts of nutrients out of the soil-so the soil needs to be extensively dug and mulched each year. 3. Does that nice deck face south? If so, consider putting a 10 x 10 foot tile square on the floor. Solar mass that will not stress the structure. 4. Cool clothes lines. Do they work better than your california one? Consider putting some gravel beneath them to speed the process. The only downside is that you have to have shoes on to move the clothes. The wood is stacked and drying for a year, all the barn wood is moved and stacked on our site as well. I've been dying to see how you guys have been doing, so this video was great to see. Those raspberries might take off too. They shoot runners everywhere when they're in a good spot, almost uncontrollably. I've been attempting to cultivate them on and off in RI and PA for about 5-6 years. I think the best thing for them is to find a spot that you're not going to cultivate, some place on the edge of a wild spot, with lots of sun, and just let them take over, cut them back with a lawn mower. We had to leave our garden because of our decision to move back here. Our neighbors were excited to reap those benefits. Keep up the work, and keep up the video updates.
